Please keep Noah and Julie Roberts in your prayers. I was very saddned to here their daughter Magdalena passed away this morning. Magdalena was born in August with condition called Trisomy 18. Most babies born with this do not make it but for a few hours. She was a very strong baby and touched the lives of so many during her short life. The family was scheduled to speak at our March for Babies Luncheon this Thursday as our 2009 ambassador family. Last Spring Julie joined March of Dimes March for Babies after discovering at a routine visit that Magdalena was high risk and raised over $3000. Her team has raised over $800 this season so far and supports our mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
